Knights Ferry, settled by Dr. William Knight in 1849, became a pivotal crossing point on the Stanislaus River during the Gold Rush. Dr. Knight's foresight led to the establishment of a ferry business that thrived during the gold rush, reaching profits as high as $500 per day. Despite Dr. Knight's unfortunate murder in 1849, the town continued to prosper. The construction of the Knights Ferry Bridge in 1863, the longest covered bridge west of the Mississippi, stands as a testament to the resilience and innovation of the community. As time passed, Knights Ferry faced changes in fortune with the decline of its prominence, yet it remains a charming community with a fascinating history.

Our BMA adventure through Knights Ferry  and Beyond will not only be a journey through time but also a thrilling ride across a mix of one and two-lane roads and awesome Off-Road routes.Get ready as BMA  navigates through the diverse landscapes, from charming historic towns to picturesque countryside.

      * Adventure leaves at 9:00am

• We will meet in the parking lot of Cost Less Foods in Jackson,CA 
• 555 CA-49 Jackson,CA  95642 and depart from there. 
• Lunch and refreshments will be provided at our break, please bring any other refreshments or specific snacks you require.

     * Arrive in the morning with a full tank of GAS, fuel stop approximately 120 miles

• All riders must possess a valid drivers license with motorcycle endorsement, valid registration and current proof of insurance. All participants must wear all required safety gear including helmet.
