So you have the fundamentals down, you are confident taking your journey off of the pavement but stop when you see that rut, or need to climb that hill? Join us and take you skill and technique to the next level and open up even more terrain and adventures to explore!

Advanced Training

READY TO ADVANCE YOUR OFF-ROAD SKILLS ?

 

 BMA's  advanced  program teaches the more technical techniques necessary to ride  challenging  off-road conditions.

 

ADVANCED TRAINING WILL INCLUDE:

 

     Approach  to more technical Off-Road dirt riding techniques 

​

  • Riding off-camber Side hills 

  • Crossing over obstacles

  • Rut management

  • Steep hill climbing & traction control.

  • Descending steep hills in a controlled manner.

  • How to recover from a failed hill attempt

  • Body position for effective off-road riding

  • Riding gravel maintaining control in standing positioning

  • Throttle, clutch and brake techniques (refresher from our intro course).

  • Turning technique using counterbalancing.

  • How to control rear wheel skids.

  • How to ride in single track trails.

  • Half day riding terrain in the park to implement and practice these techniques

  • We meet at Denny's @ 15001 Rogers Rd, Patterson, CA 95363 at 8:30 am - We will ride together as a group to the training facility

 

    * Training starts at 9:00am 

    * Arrive in the morning with a full tank of GAS,

  • OPTIONAL HOTEL Prior to Event: (Hotel not included) Riders are responsible for booking their hotel reservations.

  • Additional hotels are available in Patterson, CA.

  • Truck/trailering your bike? Parking is available at the meeting location.
